Lutheran Family Services in the Carolinas offers competitive benefits to eligible employees, including:
Medical Plan
LFS provides two options of coverage through a PPO plan. Employee coverage is 100% paid by the agency for the base plan which includes prescription drug benefits.
Dental Plan
Employees may enroll in the dental plan, which provides preventive, basic, major, and orthodontic coverage on a pre-tax basis.
Vision Plan
Coverage for exams, frames, lenses and contacts is available through payroll deduction on a pre-tax basis.
Flexible Spending Accounts
Flexible spending accounts for dependent care and medical expenses are available to employees on a pre-tax basis.
Life Insurance
LFS provides term life insurance coverage for eligible employees at no cost to the employee, and additional voluntary dependent life insurance coverage is available.
Vacation and Sick Leave
The agency provides a generous vacation and sick leave plan to allow employees needed paid time off for vacations and in the event of illness.
Holidays
LFS provides 10 paid holidays each year.
403b Savings Plan
Employees may contribute through payroll deduction to a pre-tax savings plan up to the annual IRS limits, with an agency match benefit.

Employees have the opportunity to enroll in additional plans such as accident, hospital confinement, critical illness, and cancer insurance through payroll deduction.
